That's right folks, it's the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas? Nah, Christmas is fine and all but everyone knows the REAL holiday each year occurs on December 26th! Boxing Day brings us hours of Barclays Premier League action and it all kicks off at the ass crack of dawn.
The live blog kicks off at 7:45 am Eastern (12:45 pm UK). The highlight of the early matches tomorrow will be the derby match between Spurs (Kevin) & Fulham (myself). Can Kevin handle my early morning trash talk? We shall see.

It's been an up and down season for a lot of us (some more down than others) but it's been some time since the last update so here goes:
There is a three way tie for first place with Travis, Scott, and Hank at 761 points. Chris Gervasi slides down to 4th place just 3 points ahead of perennial front runner Ray Curren. Ryan Johansen and Chris Givens have moved up in front of Matthew Lee who slides down to 8th place. Wray Grier and Seamus O'Flaherty move up to the top half of the table surpassing Cory Vild in 11th place. Tied in points is Andrew Bates who at 704 points leads Brant and Ginge in a battle for mid table superiority. The Davies' are tied at 694, which must make for some interesting Saturday matchups. Ted Meyer leads the bottom dwellers, ahead of Kevin McCauley and Philip Overshown. In the relegation zone is Jason Davis, leading Scott Bornstien andAdam Soucie, who is almost 200 points off the lead.
TIP: Have you used your wildcard yet? Once per season you can use a wildcard for unlimited transfers - so if your team isn't cutting it, you can throw it all away and start over with a brand new squad, at no penalty to your points total.

Here are the results from the #epicfooty MLS Cup predictions. Few people actually picked RSL, but only one picked that the game would be decided on penalty kicks. Surprisingly, that person was Epic Footy's own Kevin (All Things Footy) McCauley. Kevin wins a liftime subscription to Epic Footy, the Magazine, if it ever happens.
Thanks to everyone for sending in their picks!

Hey folks, today's the last day of the MLS season. At 8:30 pm Eastern time, Real Salt Lake takes on the Los Angeles Galaxy in the MLS Cup final, live from Qwest Field in Seattle, WA. For this one, we've teamed up with Duane Rollins from The 24th Minute for a super live blog that will be posted at multiple websites. The game kicks off at 8:30, but Duane will probably get things rolling early.
