How to set up a Google My Business Listing
1. Login to google
Is your business verified on Google? Use your Google account to login. If you don’t have a gmail account you must create one first.
2. Get a google places listing
Open a new Google Business page listing. This is also called Google Places for Business. For a business to have a Tour on Google, you must have a Google Places for Business listing.
3. Edit and verify
Complete the Google Places form including business address, business description, hours of operation and other information. This info can be easily updated at any time. Google will then send a postcard to your actual business address via mail pin number or phone verification.
4. Go to google dashboard
Welcome to Google Places. Are you ready to activate your listing? First you’ll need your PIN, which should arrive in the mail within two weeks after you submit your business listing. Go to your Google Dashboard. If you have your PIN, enter it besides the appropriate listing below, then click ‘Go.’
